Wow. Did I just say that?!? I suppose I should have started off with I am a  Windows girl living in a  Linux and  OS X world.

The first 10 years of my coding career managed to revolve around C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, WCF, WinForms, LINQToSQL, LINQ, EF, Telerik’s ASP.NET AJAX Controls, Angular, MS-SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports, along with the various Java, ASP Classic, and VB6 thrown into the mix. Writing pure object oriented code all the time in a N-tier, enterprise architecture style.

My current role has been involved in exploring microservice architectures and all that go with it. From the last year of research and prototypes to select the future technology stack, my eyes have been opened wide to a whole new world. Albeit, a challenge to mind-shift into exploring new languages and frameworks at first, I have been privileged to work on a team that values teamwork and pair programming.

I wanted a venue to explore outside of work things that personally interest me and document the technical things I learned. That way I will A) become better by teaching the topic and B) have a reference when I want to look back and recall how to do it again.

I hope you find the tutorials useful and the posts interesting.

Cheers,

SheBytes aka Carrie
